Surveys are usually conducted on an annual basis and consist of two particular tests.
Firstly a wipe test is conducted to test for loose radioactive particles that have found their way to the surface of the Source Holder.
Second is a Radiation Level test at 50mm and 1 metre from the Source Holder. This second test checks that the integrity of the Source Holder has not been compromised in any way.
A Nuclear Australia engineer will visit your site and perform the survey. At the conclusion of on-site testing an "on-the-spot" certificate is supplied for your records.
